About
Cyra Advisory works with private institutions, corporate collections, and private collectors on acquisitions, collection development, and cultural strategy. The practice provides independent advice across the art and cultural sectors, helping clients make informed decisions about collecting, long-term growth, and the stewardship of cultural assets.
Drawing on an extensive international network of artists, galleries, curators, academics, and cultural organisations, Cyra Advisory advises on the sourcing and acquisition of significant works, including access to select off-market opportunities. The practice also supports clients in shaping cultural vision, developing strategic partnerships, advancing research initiatives, and creating programmes that strengthen the impact and relevance of collections. Where appropriate, this extends to advising on the development of private foundations and collection-led initiatives.
Based in London and active globally, Cyra Advisory connects clients with opportunities, collaborators, and expertise aligned with their ambitions and values.
Maria's work has included supporting the establishment and growth of private institutions and foundations, shaping strategic direction and research agendas, developing partnerships, and creating artist residencies and public programmes. She works closely with clients to align collections with broader cultural ambitions, helping them navigate opportunities, define priorities, and realise long-term objectives.
Works placed include Alexander Calder, Ruth Asawa, Anselm Kiefer, Lucas Arruda, Noah Davis, and others.
Prior to establishing Cyra Advisory, Maria managed large-scale art projects for corporate clients including Ritz-Carlton, Four Seasons and Fairmont across Europe, the Middle East, and the United States. This experience continues to inform her approach to multifaceted projects, stakeholder management, and cross-sector collaboration.
